For nearly a decade Andrew worked in institutional real estate finance, doing financial modeling, asset management, and portfolio analysis at Tricon Residential, BKM Capital Partners, and Phoenix Tower International. He underwrote rental assets at scale, from the inside, and learned how large operators actually evaluate a deal.
That habit never left. The Durden Company is where it lives now: a private holding company he owns and runs, built around a few businesses he intends to hold rather than trade. He takes a hands-on role in each one, from the product decisions inside Pencil to the operations behind the others.
